How it All Began
Arcada String Quartet is a professional string quartet with the goal of sharing the word of God through instrumental music of high quality, using high class arrangements of hymns along with repertoire from classical music.
It was founded by the violinist Alisson Unglaub who is finishing his Doctoral Program in Violin Performance (DMA) at Arizona State University and invited other three christian friends to join him: Marcio Candido, Violin DMA from the Boston University, Rogerio Nunes, Violin and Viola DMA from the University of Georgia and Cherry Kim, Cello DMA from the Boston University. They promptly agreed to join him in this project and make music for the Lord.
